Spring Concert 2025

On Thursday, May 22, at 7 PM, Dr. Green will conduct the Milken Community School Student Ensembles. This concert will conclude Maestra Green’s school year as Inaugural Artist in Residence. 

Maestra Green had a wonderful school year mentoring Milken students. She joined them at orchestra and choir rehearsals and hosted “Lunch and Learn” sessions during the students’ lunch hour, where she lectured on various topics such as “What is Jewish Music.” Laura-Beth Sholkoff, Milken’s Head of Strategy and Innovation, praised Dr. Green for her “insights and the opportunity to listen to various renditions [of Kol Nidre] helped [students] to appreciate this prayer on a deeper level, which will add great meaning to their Yom Kippur observance.”
