On December 14 2024, in collaboration with Wilshire Boulevard Temple, the LAJS was joined by cantors from all over LA for a fun-filled concert featuring classic holiday favorites by Jewish composers and festive Hanukkah tunes. We celebrated the season with uplifting music and vibrant community spirit.

Cantor Lisa Peicott was named the Senior Cantor of Wilshire Boulevard Temple in October 2023, after having served in that community since 2018 as Assistant Cantor. A classically trained soprano, she holds a Master of Music degree from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music and also studied at the Academy for Jewish Religion of California.
