VOPA’s “Fiddler on the Roof”

Maestra Noreen Green conducted the Valley Opera and Performing Arts pit orchestra for a production of Fiddler on the Roof at The Sally Field Performing Arts Center in Van Nuys, directed by Dylan F. Thomas.

The seminal musical tells the story of Tevye, a milkman in the village of Anatevka who attempts to maintain his Jewish religious and cultural traditions as outside influences encroach upon his family’s lives. Fiddler on the Roof is presented through special arrangement with Musical Theater International (MTI); book by Joseph Stein, music by Jerry Bock, and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick.
