The LAJS teamed-up with the stellar orchestra and choir from the Los Angeles Korean-American Musicians’ Association to present Friendship & Harmony at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

This performance was in celebration of our shared humanity and the strength of community.  The evening included the West Coast Premiere of Grammy Award-winning conductor/composer Lucas Richman’s latest piece Symphony: This Will Be Our Reply, and the US Premiere of Byunghee Oh’s  한국의 혼 (The Spirit of Korea).

“I am still beaming from last night’s concert! It was such a joy to be a participant in making beautiful music with so many talented people. Thank you for making this possible and bringing to all of us, on stage as well as the audience, the exhilarating and uplifting experience of the magical power of music. I will never forget the feeling of delight and exalation we all felt upon completing Jerusalem of Gold. You bring together the best in all of us that music can offer.”
