The stars of the night – our fabulous LAJS Founders Headliner Tovah Feldshuh delivers a hilarious rendition of “I Don’t Wanna Be Thin” Young wonder Eden Kontesz performs the national anthem, conducted by our Founder, Dr. Richard Merkin Honoree Mark Kashper plays Leon Stein’s poignant “Aria Hebraique” Piano prodigy Emily Bear received a standing ovation for the West Coast Premiere of her piece “And Forever Free” Grammy Award-winning soprano Hila Plitmann’s voice soars above the audience

Gray Davis came out to honor our Founders Magician Ben Seidman shows off his tricks to Board Member Cynthia Tivers Pianist and composer Emily Bear takes a moment with the Maestra to celebrate their outstanding performance Delightful klezmer music from clarinetist Gary Gould and accordionist Isaac Sadigursky Soprano Guest Artist Rachel Freed and Master of Ceremonies Brad Pomerance cheese at the dessert reception Classical and jazz guitarist Max Brenner plays some soothing sounds for the guests
